Thanks Jo Keppel!!!!

A friend of Linda’s came for lunch last week.  She’s a reporter for the local paper and wanted to do an interview with Greg’s parents about their resignation from Art in the Park.  She’s a really lovely lady, her name is Jo Keppel and I am a big fan of her artwork.  She had a display at Art in the Park this year and I just loved the graphic elements to her artwork, very original and imaginative.

Here are a couple of photos of her work that I took, I hope she won’t mind me putting them on the blog.2011-03-08_AITP 099 (Small)

In addition to her lovely artwork, she kindly gave Eloise an old printers tray which was really generous.  Eloise has been putting all of her finds from the beach in her tray plus all the little presents I buy her for doing well with her maths homework!!

Here are some photos of Eloise’s collection so far.

She’s loving her little collection!

Anyway, digressing slightly……back to last week!  After lunch, Jo kindly showed us a little book she had made for Linda and gave us both a quick lesson on how to make one for ourselves.  Thanks Jo for sharing your fabulous ideas with us, the books have turned out great.

Here are a few little books that I have made over the last few days.

These books are tiny, but oh so cute!!!

I’ve made two for Eloise and one to send back home to the UK which contains a little letter and some photos.

I’ve had great fun doing these and getting creative with paints.   Here are a few close ups of the content!
