We were able to return to the bach at 9 Mile for the weekend. It rained cats & dogs all weekend, so the time was spent in serious hibernation. That meant having to watch lots of movies, read books, drink lots of red wine and eat plenty of chocolate. It was tough.
Trying to take a photo outside was pretty difficult because the wind was blowing so hard, but here are a couple of pics taken yesterday from the edge of a muddy cliff:
Returning home today, the rain was gone, the sun was out and we were greeted by the sight of fresh snowfall on the Southern Alps:
