The Easter weekend was pretty much rained out on the West Coast. There was a break in the rain early on Sunday morning when the Easter Bunny dashed around the garden hiding some chocolate goodness. Painfully early. Nothing early about Eloise who is a lady of leisure and decided to hunt for eggs when she was good and ready about 3 hours and another rain shower later!
Here’s a short video clip of Eloise hunting for eggs at home:
A bit later in the morning we went to the easter egg hunt at Shanty Town. There was a huge turnout with hundreds of families and Eloise was lucky to find a chocolate bunny between the gold panning area and the mine shaft in Chinatown. The photo shows Eloise about to enter the mineshaft.
Fortunately despite the low yield of eggs at Shanty Town, the Easter Bunny had been particularly generous earlier in the morning and Eloise had a large haul of Easter eggs to look forward to back at home, half of which are seen here on the right.
So you had a rainy Easter? We had 25 degrees.. Love the little clip..
I presume the music is not original kiwi
