Well getting rid of them actually!!![]()
Two months down the line and my hair roots leave a lot to be desired! Luckily Linda has a hairdresser friend near Barrytown, so we headed off this morning to get a colour touch up and a cut and blow dry!
Thanks Eloise for taking this lovely photo of your Mama looking her best!
Greg and Eloise came along too as the hairdressers house is awesome. They built it themselves over a period of two years and have used lots of reclaimed materials. The little hair salon has been built outside, it was awesome having my hair done out there!
The photo on the left shows the entrance to the little salon.
Sandy’s husband gave us a tour of their house and I took a couple of photos of their kitchen and dining room.
I also went down to their old barn to look at an old singer sewing machine that Sandy has just bought. It was still in its old case and was in a poor state, so Sandy has renovated it and has made the little table containing the machine into something really special.
They had the most gorgeous dog called Webster and Eloise was besotted with him. Such a great dog and he loved all the attention from Eloise.
Below are a few photos Greg took on the way back to Greymouth. The weather has been great today, very, very hot and sunny all day and the scenery just looked stunning.
