Just thought I would do a little post about these three little guys.
The first is a stick insect that we happened to find one morning in the middle of the patio table on the deck. Really weird looking thing with extra long legs! We made Greg pick it up and put in on the fennel plant! We photographed it next to a dollar so you can see the size of it. Really strange seeing this as we’ve only ever seen them in glass jars before.
Next we found a Weta. Man these things can jump, scared us silly, we screamed and ran off when it jumped towards us! Luckily Greg was on hand again to move it to a more suitable location!
And lastly, Eloise spotted this Grasshopper on the light switch in the garage, just as we were about to reverse the car out. She went running inside to tell Greg about it and we managed to take this close up photo. Wouldn’t want to bump into this on a dark night!
And that concludes the lesson on creepy crawlies!

Sue would simply freak at these nasty selection of critters ! Mind you, I wouldn’t exactly have a ball with things like that around – good job Greg “the main man” is there to sort them out. have fun !
