As the weather was so nice today we decided to have a walk down to Paroa beach and grab some fish and chips on the way.  There’s hardly any breeze this afternoon and it’s really warm.  We found a big piece of driftwood to sit on while we stuffed our faces with fish and chips!  Eloise took this photo of me and Greg and below are a few more photos that we took on our walk back to the house.

I’ve also been busy making Linda some new cushions for her patio chairs as a surprise, I hope she likes them!

Greg managed to speak to his mom this afternoon.  She’s already been out of bed and has been walking around.  The good news is that she said all of the pain that she had in her lower back and legs has now gone and the only pain at present is from the wound following surgery.  All being well she could be discharged from hospital Wed/Thurs next week depending on her progress.  Thanks for everyone’s emails and telephone calls of concern, we have let her know that you all send her your best wishes.
