Paroa Beach

Posted by on 27 January 2011

It was supposed to rain today, but as there hasn’t been a raindrop in sight we decided to take a walk down to Paroa beach which is just a short walk from Greg’s parents house.P1270010 (Small)

Eloise is loving playing in the surf and collecting driftwood and coloured stones on the beach.  We usually come back with a carrier bag full of goodies, but today we decided to just look and not collect!

Greg took this photo of myself and Eloise sitting on a huge piece of driftwood.  There are some awesome pieces to be found on the beach.  I can see that when we get our own place, we will be filling the garden with bits and pieces.

Although the sun has been out and it’s quite hot back at the house, there’s quite a cool breeze down at the beach.  Plus you can never wear to many clothes when fighting the battle against the sand flies.  Cover up as much as possible, that’s my motto.  Greg and Eloise have other ideas though!!

Hi Greg, it does rather look rather special there, but i’m sure you must be missing the cold, snow and rain of Aldridge by now…. (not!!) :-)

Hope you all are well and getting settled in.
