Eloise has made a new friend today. An English family from Yorkshire live over the road from Greg’s parents and they have three young girls. Amelia is the eldest and she is 10 going 11, so similar in age to Eloise. Greg’s mom invited her over this afternoon to watch a DVD with Eloise and for some popcorn and yummy chocolate cake.
The girls got on really well and so we decided to go a walk together down to Paroa beach at the bottom of the road. Check out the surf today guys, it looks like someone has emptied washing powder into it!! The girls thought it was fab, so they really enjoyed running in and out of it. It clung to their legs like bubble boots!!!! ![]()
Loads of driftwood had been washed up on to the beach, so we found a couple of nice walking sticks.
Greg also found a nice bike parked on the beach as well!!! The beach looked awesome, managed to take some really lovely photos.
We also came across loads of bluebottle jelly fish with their long blue tentacles. I managed to take a photo of one, they look like little balloons! ![]()
Just thought I would take a photo from the bottom of the road where Greg’s parents house is, so you can see how far away the beach is. You literally cross over the main road and you’re there!![]()

I will drop a comment when we get to Christchurch and see where you are then. You seem to be cramming a lot in! my email address is ———@——-.com so hopefully see you soon.
